Are OCD thoughts lies?

I would say it depends on what it is - but most times I guess yeah they are.
The hard thing is knowing if it's an OCD thought or not though.

Acutally the thoughts are OCD, produce anxiety, and focus on the worst case scenario. I believe I'm the only person who have thoughts (that I don't want) on the specific topic I have at hand. That is why it is so lonely.

A lie is "a deliberate untruth." I wouldn't say they're lies. Also, OCD thoughts often focus on real possibilities, but the odds of the possibilities actually happening are so tiny, it's unreasonable to focus on them and spend your life trying to prevent them, or worry about them. But OCD makes you focus on them, even though you don't want to.
