lately my sister's life is not going smoothly.she is having trouble staying at her job.prior to join private sector she was working for the govt. now she thinks that her director is doing everything to cause trouble at her work places,so she won't have a good career. They collect info from home and say it in her work place just to humiliate her.Her family life is so far okay. She blames our dad for everything. She thinks he is the one who is passing info to his colleagues. She saw a doctor and took medication and now she stopped. she is saying all this are real. please tell me a way to make her understand

im sorry your sister is struggling with these thoughts.

is there any validity behind them? perhaps she would be in less distressed if you talk to her. if these are delusions, IMO people get these sorts of thoughts due to underlying emotional insecurity.

maybe a therapist could help her to challenge these thoughts?

hope this helps some. take care.

Hello Mozart, it's nice to meet you. I don't really have any advice except to try to have a conversation that brings out your sisters logical thinking and maybe she will see the problem. Sometimes just having some help reasoning things out helps this kind of thinking.

thanks,no there is no validity behind those. just the other day they moved to a new place and when mom called she just cautioned her to be careful since it is a new place and all but my sis is saying mom is indirectly warning her that she is in danger
