DocJohn
I started using this mood tracker this week and it has been very helpful to me already. My pdoc has me using a paper sheet graph to help track moods for bipolar and I record mood, sleep, irritability and meds, but sometimes I get very frustrated when I can't identify what the mood is. For example, if I have a lot of energy, sometimes it is difficult for me to know if it is an up mood or an irritable or anxious mood, so I am just not sure where to put it on the graph. This way, by answering the questions and having the software calculate it for me, it helps me having to try and figure out what that unidentified feeling might actually mean, and one of the days when I was just jumping out of my skin but not sure what it was, it came up as anxiety and that made a lot of sense. So, thanks!
My suggestion for additions to your tracker would be - have a place to record meds (where a person could record changes to their meds and see how this affects things), and for women, a place to record menstrual cycles since this is often relevant. The comments box seems to be a good spot to put extra info, like any additional stresses, or other behaviors like purging or self-injury, for example. But you might want to suggest to people that they can use the spot for that purpose.

just a suggestion: could we change the graph to a line graph (instead of bars)? because when i try to track my mood over the week, it's difficult to compare the bars (because they are all separated) whereas i think a line would be easier (becasue the dot points for each day e.g., mania, anxiety, depression, would be on top of each other - so less space to compare over)?

pretty please?
