It's Gumby!

It kinda funny. A joke me and my sister had when we were kids. Kinda stupid now but it made me laugh when I saw it.

I thought it was Gumby. I'm doing 'ok' for the moment, never know when the cycles are gonna change though. How are you doing today? I remember you telling me your computer won't let you in chat before, what's up with that?

I dunno. But its pissin' me off. Hubby is gonna look at it. I actually just messed with my configerations so I have to shut down and reboot. I'll see if that works. If not, well I dunno what the hell to do.
Im doing ok. Went to work this week. The whole week. Gosh it was hard. Lots of work. I can always count on there being work. I did have a panic attack earlier in the week at work. That sucked. Other then that. I'm hangin in there.

Hope you find out what's causing the problems for chat. I'm assuming you've downloaded/updated your java.

So proud of you that you made it through the entire week at work, even with it being hard. That's a great accomplishment. Not great about the panic attack, I certainly know what they're like, wouldn't wish one of those on anybody. Did you have it while at work?

Well I rebooted and I updated the Java and it still doesnt work. Dang it oh well I will try again tomorrow.

When I had a panic attack at work, my first instinct was to come here for support. So i posted a brief message and it got worse so I went downstairs for air. I felt alot better so I was able to get through the day. I think it's because I havent had alot of sleep this week cause the kids have been home for spring break so they are staying up to all hours of the night. Finally last night I had to put my foot down and tell them that Mommy needs to rest and I made them go to sleep at 9:30. I have to get up at 4:30 am so I need my rest. My boss was out today so it was kinda calm in the office.
I have to take my daughter out tomorrow for spring clothes. I love shopping. I think it will be a good chance for us to hang out, spend some real quality time together. She will soon be 14 so I have very little time left before she will be embarressed to be around me.
Well, Gracie (the pup) is barking for the nightime potty walk. So I have to go. I may be on in a little while cause it's Friday and i dont have to get up for work tomorrow. YAY!!!!

I hope no one gets offended that were just carrying on a convo in the general forum. LOL

I used to watch SNL when I was a kid and Eddie Murphy played Gumby. I was Fu@$*@ hilarious. Well I still cant chat. This sux. I'm on my lap top. I guess i can use the desk top in the basement to chat but it's cold down there.
Well, we went shopping today. So much fun. We had a ball. I actually took all the kids along and hubby too. Made a day of it. Everyone got spring/summer clothes. For a family of 5, thats not cheap. I mean now a days, these teenagers and their "name brand must haves" are ridiculous. God forbid they should ever wear jeans less then $50.00. My middle child is what you would call punk/skater. I dunno. She got sme cute things today. My oldest is a mini Brittany Spears in the making. The skirts nowadays for these kids, GOSH!!!! They are short. My youngest, my son, he is simple. Just plain old shorts and shirts. That was my day. It was great. Loved every minute with my family. It was a good day.

Glad you had a fun filled family shopping day Jen. Does hubby like shopping too? Most men don't I think. Sorry to hear you still can't get into chat. That does suck. Did you get hubby to look at it yet?

Yes he looked. No luck though. I went downstairs to the basement comp. I could get into chat there, but sadley there was no one there. Oh well. Hubby, got shoes, jeans and a shirt. So he didnt complain. Kids go back to school tomorrow and I have therapy at 4. I havent seen her in two weeks so I'm looking forward to it. I really like my T although I had a slight issue with her last time. I paid my bill in full and I noticed that she had charged me a late cancelation fee. The problem is that I was sick and had to go to my primary doc for medication. I couldnt call until Monday morning cause they were closed on Sunday. She said I needed to give 24 hours notice. Told her impossible since the office was closed on Sunday. She wiped it away so I didnt have to pay it but I was a little annoyed. Also, she cancelled on me twice 3 hours before our session. Maybe I should have charged her. Anyway. Therapy tomorrow. Looking forward to it. I dont want to cry though. last session was filled with tears. I'm tired of the pain, ya know?

Oh sweetie, hope your therapy appt goes well, with no tears. I know how that is. I once was so upset my T gave me a hug when I was leaving. First and only time that has happened. Sending you good vibes for your T appt.

Guess hubby made out ok with shopping. Did you get anything for yourself?

There's ppl in chat most nights, you'll have to try again. I go in a fair amount, sometimes I participate, sometimes I just read. Depends what kind of mood I'm in or whether there seems to be a discussion going that I feel I would be intruding on or not. Every time is different and I decide after I get there.

That sucks with getting billed for late cancellation. Sometimes things happen. What if you get sick within the 24hrs? There is no way to give 24hrs notice. If my pdoc ever decided to charge me, I'll charge her for making me wait a hour every time I have an appt and I'm the FIRST appt for the day all the time. She waits for me to arrive at her office and her receptionist to call her and tell her I'm there before she leaves home. Talk about RUDE!!! Glad you didn't have to actually pay for it but I can certainly understand your feelings.

Thanks AG. I actually did get some good stuff too. I got some capri pants and some shirts. How come nowadays all these pants and capri pants are so low. I mean damn. Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing my T. Thanks for the good thoughts. I will try to come into chat tonight. Sometimes when I'm in there I just like to sit and watch too. Your right. Depends on my mood. Well, I guess I better go, I'm at work and I dont want to get in trouble. LOL.
