radio_flyer,

</font><blockquote><div id="quote"><font class="small">Quote:</font>
Maybe all muslims are not terrorists...... But, all terrorists are muslim....

</div></font></blockquote><font class="post">

I think you are badly mistaken in that, as a famous author (I forget his name at the moment) said:

'Terrorism is the war of the poor. War is the terrorism of the rich'

Even that is too simple a picture as it doesn't include concepts of justice or economics and much more.

We live in a complex world that can rarely be divided up simply with anything close to justice.

Just my 2 cents.~Down

Radio, not all terrorists are muslim, and you're still generalizing. That's being a racist and discriminatory. I'm sorry, but that doesn't make you a 'better' person than them (you didn't say you were, but I got that impression though). Of course, you're not destroying people's lives, but you don't like certain people because of their ethnicity.

It is fine, not to agree on what what people's beliefs are, but when you take that into consideration as to the kind of people they are - that's gone overboard.

I've been through a lot of prejudices myself, and I know that it is 'me' - who I am, not what I am, and how I treat others is what really counts.

Sigh - makes me wonder what you think of me, and other people...

LMO!!! Help me stop the madness.
My intentions of this post was not to bring up 9/11, muslims beliefs or what not.

I am truely sorry I started this and I hold no hard feelings towrds anyone for their beliefs. I just wanted to discuss a work issue I had trouble with. I respect and care for all of you here. With that being said. This post ends here. PlEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!

To be honest, I was wrong in responding the way I did.... Being this is a support forum and my response was not supportive...... Guess when I saw "muslim" it struck a raw nerve and I reacted...... I agree, this is not the place to reply to posts, if in fact it is a disagreeable one.....I really was expressing my opinion, but opinions and support are not the same... I really didn't mean to cause such a huff here..... I must remember if I don't have something good to say, don't say anything..
peace

No radio that is not what I meant. I think is ok to express your opinions. I would never fault you for that. Never. I simply was explaining a situation at work and the post took a turn for the worst. Please dont beat yourself up about anything. I understand your sensativity regarding this issue and I think we all can relate to that. However, I have to reiterate, that just because actions of a few, does not make them all that way. I have friends and family of all races and religions. I wouldnt have it any other way. I grew up this way and its always how its been for me.
I think you for your opinion and I am sorry if I made you feel like your opinion was undervalued.

And with that and numerous complaints about the thread, I guess it's time to close it. Sorry folks, but topics like racism bring up strong feelings in many folks. They can't always be discussed in the calm way we might like.

Take care,
DocJohn
