Not that I really want to either. I just hate how others may view it since american society doesn't think much of people who can't pull their own weight. Problem is, I've got what I've got and I don't think I could cope with the workplace and even family life after I leave my dad's house. I hope I leave soon too since he says he'll probably get remarried in the next decade and he's so much better single. Not in the near future will I move out though. Sometimes..no..often..I want to be famous..you'll have to guess which field..but I often do want to be famous. But, being an A list famous person isn't always easy. Comes with it's own set of problems and the grass isn't always greener on the other lawn. I just hate to live off of others in one way or another despite having disabilities..I don't think I'll find a job I'll like in this climate if I can't make a living or be famous doing what I love to do. So, I'll otherwise remain dependent. Which sucks..but roughly 85% of people with my disability are dependent and essentially can't pull their own weight. So, in that case, I'm not doing too bad..in relative terms..With Aspergers..my main condition, we may think we're all smart and in plenty of cases, superior in intelligence to others but as a person with the disability, I will say that's for the most part, not the case. If that was true, Elite Universities would be lining up to admit us..and we'd be in demand. Big time. If we are as smart as we say, why aren't people with Aspergers Syndrome running ****? We're usually not dumb..but we're no smarter than the "Neurotypicals" or non autistic people many Autistics complain about. Anyway, I just had to get that out there. Happy 4th of July everyone.

Well.....
![]() ![]() I hope you can find something that you like to do and feel a sense of success and independence. I hope you don't allow your disorders to define you based on percentages and based on the "everybody else" factor. The fact is, you are you. Your disorder may impose some limits upon you, but I encourage you to challenge those limits and never stop looking beyond them. You may not be able to overcome them, but you might be able to. You're not going to know unless you give yourself permission to try and give yourself permission to fail. I know I have learned more from things when I have had to pick myself up and dust myself off then when It just came easy. If fame is what you desire....go for it!! But, until you are enough without the fame, you're never gonna be enough with it. Take care.... ![]()
