being really scared when I first came over to Psych Central from another site. The ones that made the trek huddled together, like a covey of quail, in the Internet Travel Lounge that Doc John established for new folks...Doc John was this, to me, invisible magician that ran a fairly loose ship and a place that seemed to be VERY large and very cool..(i was used to having my knuckles rapped with the old ruler pretty often..because of my mouth)...
ZH brought me over..cause I'd been banished from the fiefdom for 16 weeks and she thought I'd like it here.....I can't speak for the route that other "travelers" took to get here. We hung and we hung and we hung.....we were assailed a couple of times with messages that could have been attached to an arrow, for all we knew, and we huddled tighter for a few days.....I started the saga of Ethel and occasionally one of "you" would come over and post a bit of her story.......I was terribly curious about everyone here. One day I decided that I was going to check this home out...I left our room! I didn't stomp out though..I tried to be very discreet and stay under your radar...I posted in "depression", I think. And then I scurried back to the covey.... And of course the hood on my cruiser hadn't even cooled before that TofuButtEms started poking me with a stick...She was a constant thorn in my reclusive side..and NOW, months later, I love this place!  (as in "I love this game") (do ANY of you watch the NBA????) [b]

That's about how it was with me, too---hiding out, venturing out, retreating, getting poked by emmy. Still get poked.
