pistons and heat.....didn't see the other one before they changed the graphics....i like the heat wooooohoooooooooooooo now because i've always respected Pat Riley. wooooohoooooooooooooo then when Shaq told the LA brass to shove it wooooohoooooooooooooo and went to Miami, i was pleased. when Shaq was at LA, i din't pay them too much attention. my favourite team is Sacramento...so...now that Shaq has taken on the leadership of the heat...i'm happy with his committment to help Miami win a championship. it also pleases me to no end that LA doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell to win anything. ask me what time it is and i'll tell you how to build a clock wooooohoooooooooooooo

Yes, I heard that his toes have swollen up to the size of grapefruits, so they are busy custom-making him new sneaks. I just pray they are done in time!!!

Laurie mentioned my Warriors wooooohoooooooooooooo

who cares about the rest of the league. I'm busy watching team building and hoping that for once in ten years my boys keep the same roster through the off season. Just once. Is that too much to ask?!

Two games is a treat Pat and I'd be right next to you ripping on those silly boys in gold wooooohoooooooooooooo

oops, scratch silly boys in gold and insert silly boys in black and red or whatever colours the Heat now wears.

Shaq and his poor big toe. wah. can you tell what I think of this player? wooooohoooooooooooooo I'll start getting nostalgic for the days when they wore shorts not these culottes they now parade about in. And the old school Chuck Taylor hightops (Converse for you kids)?? Those were some days of bball!! wooooohoooooooooooooo The gentleman previously known as Lou Alcindor.......now he was a player. After Jordan appeared things changed forever. I miss how the game was prior to his airness.

I love this game too!

michael jordan is one of my favourite players ever. he had grace and style...he didn't rap, didn't miss games because his feelings were hurt, that smile was contagious and i think he has a good heart.......Shaq has a stomach virus today...i'm glad to see that Rasheed Wallace has finally found a team where he can play and not get four technicals per game.......i miss the days of Larry Bird and Parrish. Parrish was arrested in the Miami airport for pot...how could you ever tell that he was stoned? i never, ever liked Kevin McHale. he was the most sexist and macho player in the league...very dirty guy.......game has started. i'm outta here.

McHale? McHale?! Lady that man was a saint compared to the 14 years the league put up with Laimbeer!

This is what the NBA site says about the man: Bill Laimbeer was one of the most notorious players ever to throw an elbow, thrust a hip, or feign being fouled. Certainly, no player was ever showered with more boos or unflattering nicknames. Laimbeer was called "the prince of darkness," "a street thug," "an ax murderer" and "His Heinous." NBA History: Bill Laimbeer Bio

McHale was Mother Theresa compared to some *LOL* Oh I do so miss those days. Get back to watching your games hon and enjoy yourself today!

i was talking about the vocal messages that McHale sent and still sends out. he is extremely sexist..to the point of being very vulgar...i had a satellite dish in NM and i picked up a stray feed one day and he was discussing women..officially, he was off the air but their signal was pulled in by my dish.....it was the worst thing i've ever known a man to say about women..and it went on for about 10 minutes. i was glued to the set because i was so shocked. i read an article about him recently and he continues to this day to speak in very negative tones about women. Laimbeer was a thug and probably still is. alonzo is playing for miami now. i like that man.

I have a problem with players no matter how good they play, if their personal life (which isn't) is trash.

too bad professional sports have for far too long allowed little boys to receive large sums of money for their athletic abilities yet they have little to no people skills. Oh well. There are exceptions yet the media protrays the negative so much more than the positives......but tell me how one spins guns and thug behaviour of players of today into positives?

Did you ever get to see Malone and Stockton play in person before John retired? Man those were a pair that played well together. So sad the Jazz never got the trophy while they played for them.

No bball for me today as I can already hear roomie watching some flick.

I'll have to check scores later. Looks like the Pistons have the Heat by seven with three minutes left. Heh hehe. As for later today go Kings! And as much as I love my Warriors it won't be a pretty matchup against the Spurs.

i watched John Stockton play for years with Karl.....I go far enough back that I remember seeing Moses Malone playing for Philadelphia. his heart was broken when they traded him right at Dr, J's last year. now that was low. he really wanted to be there with Doc that year. he was a great player. i flew to St. Lucia about 8 years ago and sat by Julius Irving for about 7 hours. he is way coooooool and oh, so handsome!!
