I am sorry if I feel this way about this. I do not like her and I don't like what is going on. I am British and I do not like this wedding. She should be nothing but a sl..ut....who came in and hurt a family. She is not anything to me and never will be. Diana was and will always be. This is a big joke to me and I am not happy at all but I do wish them happiness that is all they will get from me.

look i am not bashing anyone. here we go again. i am just saying how i feel about this wedding. and i have the right too. i don't care if they can not defend them selves what about what Diana went through and how everyone bash her. that was not nice at all. i like Diana and i do not like Camilla and i will never like her. Camilla and others are the ones that destroy the marriage of Charles and Diana and Charles was not there for Diana like she wanted him too be. And the Royal family didn't make Diana part of the family so i understand how she felt and i understand why she went out to look for someone to make her a part of something even if it was wrong. she loved Charles and he never loved her the way she loved him. Diana loved her boys to death and look at them now with out mom. I feel Camilla should not be the queen or the priness of anything and i feel that Charles should not be the king it should go to the William. Me being British feels this way and i have the right. I am wishing them the best but i do not have to like this at all. that is my opinion.

Pat - I saw two hats. I think the first was some sort of alien birdy species. The second....the feathery fan thing? I'm afraid a crane is doing a mating dance on her head.

LA - Pat was telling HERSELF that she shouldn't be bashing people ...patty talks to herself a lot. She's one silly goose.

it was the white hat with the fanny feathers and now that i think about it, she actually could have had a crane on her head. lord knows, PC would buy one for her..thanks for your support...remember that wine commercial that might have been Gallo's...?i will add this..i'm less likely to be silly on the forums now. i'm afraid of upsetting people....

Leave it to me to have a different point of view...

Her first outfit was quite nice, except I, like the Church of England, didn't want her in any WHITE. They say the second outfit had exquisite embroidery, and the color accented her eyes. I was satisfied that the Church did not allow her to wear white. The Church also insisted they confess their sin which the whole world knows of anyway...how humbling that should have been!
Perhaps this should have happened many, many years ago, yet the Prince didn't want to give up the opportunity of the Crown. He "wanted his cake and eat it too" type of situation? I don't worry about such things anyway...

Everyone needs to be allowed to start over. No one is someone else, nor should I compare in such a way.

I'm sorry you Brits have to live with this for a long time... you can always come to America, I think others have.

Oh, yeah, big ears marries home wrecker....forgot to put that on my calendar, oops The Royal Wedding....A Big Joke.....

Its so pathetic to begin with. The only TRUE Princess of Wales is Lady Diana, and Camilla isn't even in the same realm for comparison.

At least the cheating SOB finally did what he wanted before he married Diana, gotta acknowledge that (as he deserves NO credit for it).

At least now, Prince Harry (is he the eldest? or is it William? I get confuzzled The Royal Wedding....A Big Joke.....) will bring his mother's grace to the throne.

Okies, I'm done.

the outfit that i saw her in, in a photograph, was white...i have no personal animosity towards her. Diana got a raw deal from PC because he never broke it off with Camilla. too much happened, behind the palace walls, for us to know everything about it anyway. it's a diversion from all of othe bad news concerning Iraq and Afghanistan...i was sad that the pope died, but was prepared for that. divergent opinions make the world work. p

I don't know why my other post was blank. Perhaps my guardian angel warning me not to post something that is going to get me dumped on.

Diana evolved into using her fame to do good in the world. She seems to have been a good mother. She also seems troubled. I can't blame that all on Charles. Women cope with cheating husbands and loss every day of the week and don't have butlers and chauffeurs and all the rest to help them through it.

I feel sorry for Prince Charles. I can't even imagine what it is like to be groomed from the womb to be in the public spotlight. And not just a public spotlight like a rock star where anything goes, but having scrutiny of one's every least little word and deed discussed in depth by people who have never met one and think one "stands for" someting or "represents" him.

Politicians get to choose this path. Charles did not.

I agree that maybe he should have stood up for himself and Camilla before marrying Diana. Still, I'd have to say I can't imagine how hard it would be to stand up to the entire House of Windsor.

I think he and Camilla are entitled to grab whatever little piece of happiness they can for themselves. I think they are brave to go against public opinion to have their wedding and pledge their love to each other in a public way. This can't be easy for them, esp. when you consider that the only life Charles has ever known is to try to please all of the people all of the time -- and many of them the court officials who are very hard to please. For someone who has spent his life in that situation, this is almost like an act of pure and total rebellion.

As for the succession, I am an American. I don't related to royalty very well. I don't think there should be any royalty at all. I also don't think that movie stars and sports stars should be treated like royalty. Maybe your wish that Charles not ascend to the throne will come true, LostAngel.

Sorry to go against the grain of public opinon about Charles.

Ok you probably know by now but... Camilla wore two different outfits. The civil service, the church service... she wore white in the civil, a silver/grey long coat/gown to the church.

'While we're on the topic also... sometimes we forget there was another player in this: Camilla's first husband. Anyway I find it interesting that both Camilla's greatgrandparent and Charles' greatgrandparent (I forget if it was his great grandfather or -mother or hers vice versa) ..had an affair with the other!

Perhaps the need for forgiveness is great here... as the country needs the royal family to adore? Do the English hold grudges? I can't recall... But I think many Brits are ready to idolize the royalty and move on again... The hope has been in Prince William since he was born, anyway. Now THAT will be a wedding!

Well i was reading everyones thought on the wedding and how they feel about it. and i like what you guys were saying. i feel that i agree to everything and i understand how some may feel more then others and that is ok. i wish them both the best but like others i feel what happen to Diana was wrong and most of us brit are not bad people we just didn't like what took place. and you are right there is so much going on in that family that we do not know about. Charles should see that with out Diana he would not have those two handsome boys.

But thank you all for expressing how you feel and your opinion on this wedding. More I think about it they both have the right to more on and they did say how sorry they were for the things they done. I guess that is ok. Best of luck to the both of them and to the boys.

I loved Diana, she was such a compassionate person, unlike her husband, but then I do not know much aabout them, just what magazines talk about.
I was heartbroken when she was killed in that horrible crash.
This is probably not nice to say, but the Royal family should count themselves lucky that she put some good looks into the bloodline, her one son looks so much like her, thank God, ha!ha!

Now to get back to my chores The Royal Wedding....A Big Joke.....

Camilla's outfits were as follows:

Civil ceremony - cream chiffon dress and long, matching oyster silk coat.

Windsor Castle Blessing - long, fitted silk porcelain-blue dress and high-collared coat embroidered with gold thread, with a slight train.

Ok, I must admit I'm a little fuzzy on what happened.

But is it reasonable to say that if Charles were allowed to marry Camilla when he wanted to, years and years ago, that things would have turned out much differently? Was Charles forbidden to marry Camilla? If so, why?

The marriage seemed a pretty dubious one from the beginning. He was in his 30s and she was 19. What could thay possibly have had in common? She was a teacher for little children while Charles liked hunting and architecture, etc.

I am only an American, so please excuse my ignorance. Can anyone enlighten me as to why Charles never married Camilla early on? Why was he forced to marry Diana?

It is so easy to put people on a pedastal after they are gone. We are all human. We all make mistakes. I'm sure Diana was not a saint throughout this whole thing.

I wish the 2 of them best of luck.

And by the way, I LOVED her church outfit!

I can tell you why Charles was not allowed to marry Camilla when he wanted to. Camilla i think was not divorced or still married at the time and Charles had to marry someone who would give him kids like Diana and I think Diana and Charles were plain to be married by both families. After a bit Charles did love Diana but no the way Diana loved Charles. She did love him very much that is why it hurt her about the way things turn out. and i agress the age different was half of the problem. Diana loved kids and i am sure he loves his boys too. and i agree everyone should have a 2 chance even if Diana was still with us she should be too. and yes i agree with the way the two boys turn out. wow..
and yes Diana made mistakes too but she didn't know who to turn to so she went outside of the family where she should have not just like Charles did and it makes it harder when he know the husband you are to be with is still in love with someone else and it makes it hard when Diana know he love her but not the same as he loved Camilla. so i understand that. and yes we are human we do make mistakes but one thing i do not stand for is cheating or lieing...
