Was wondering if other people would be interested in a new group for this "condition"…it's supposed to be featured somewhat prominently in the next version of the DSM from what I've heard (and by definition eludes full categorization in either the anxiety or depression forums).

This sounds like a good idea. I have anxiety/panic attack issues and may have depression issues. Are you thinking of a chat or another forum? A chat would be nice. I might try to attend a chat, although I don't do that great in chats. Might consider it tho..

There already is a a forum for depression and anxiety. Of course you knew that..So I am not sure what you are asking... A forum or a scheduled chat?

I definitely would be interested. I have panic disorder and ocd, and earlier this year was diagnosed with depression. The depression does put a twist on things. Let me know about it if you form a group or do chat.

A forum for *mixed* (or "combined") depression/anxiety? I've only noticed separate ones, unless I'm missing something.

I was talking about a (written) forum, not a chat, but I guess the latter might be a good idea too.

I have multiple disorders and difficulties and illnesses blah blah, but to be honest, I think posting separately in the sections provided is fine as it is...

I agree with Pup on this: I have many more than two symptoms. I think that is rather natural, considering...

If this does become an interest in the forums. I am willing to do a chat for 1 Hour per week during the week if warranted, but it wil have to be in accordance to times I am available from other duties. If Doc John allows me to do a chat. Take care. Soidhonia
