It looks like a question mark to me. I've used it as a question mark. Apparently, for the 5 people that used it in the Drug Questions forum also thought it was a question mark. What if a person is using icon to ask a question for help, but others see it as a critique (a thumbs down) about something and choose not to read the post because they are just scanning the forums for post with icon or upbeat posts? Maybe no one does that?

It's definitely a "thumbs down." I take that to mean that something isn't right or someone had a bad experience; say a med that had the wrong effect. Then I would use the "thumbs down." Don't think I'd use it for a question mark, though. I wouldn't use it towards another person's ideas or the like.

I just happen to know it's a thumbs down, but for someone unfamiliar, it kind of looks like a question mark with an extra slash of red behind it.
