Geez, I'd have to give this some thought. Memory is like a sieve and some of that is before my time so have no favourties for that, I'll have to think.

Some that jump out at me are
70's- Queen/Bee Gee's 80's-David Bowie/Duran Duran/ U-2/ Today-creed/linkin park Plus all the one's you said  I'll probably add.. .just if didn't want to forget these.

OMG I so Love Duran Duran they were great in the 80's and even better today since the orginal band is all back together.
Another one of my faves is Live who came out in the 90's. I got to see them last summer. OH my I didn't know they could be so sexy  Just made me melt.In today's group I would have to say Godsmack and AFI
