Was just watching this old episode of Stargate.. It's the one where the Goa'ulds send the giant naquada block to earth.. it's just that it looks like an asteroid... well ST1 of course is sent to do the Armageddon thing... yada yada ya.. Everything seems to go wrong, they figure out that if they detonate the nuclear bomb the naqada will boost the explosion and create a small nova... communications are down.. and so on and so on...

I was just thinking.. If u were in a situation like that, "you're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't" (to quote Daniel) ...when it really seems there's nothing left to do and you're gonna die no matter what...Would YOU keep fighting, just to try to save the rest of the world?

Eh.. Stargate dilemma Stargate dilemma if someone is offended by this post... Stargate dilemma

but of course! It's only when life has NO purpose that it's useless.

If I knew I'd be screwed either way I'd go get drunk and cuss out a few choice people and pee in the corner of a few choice locations of some people I'm not so fond of.

But then again, would I be so selfish of caring only of myself in my final hours, when there's others to be saved by a slim chance?

I dunno. Probably depend how much liquor was available. ^___~ Nah, I dunno. *hug* Get feeling better?

i agree with mortimer, if you are at the end of the world i would rather go with a drunken grin on me face, the drinkers bible is the only book i would turn to, in the words of father jack, from father ted, drink, feck, and girls.

Well I don't think there'd be alcohol on the asteroid Stargate dilemma
I know I wouldn't do anything and I have a hard time believing anyone would. Maybe like firefighters but not "normal" people Stargate dilemma ...All alone on an asteroid where everything is against you and time is running out... I'd be just hopelessly crying or something Stargate dilemma
