So this weekend my body screamed at me "You've had ENOUGH!" with my stress level being as incredibly high as it's been (that, and missing a few Paxil dosages probably did not help my physical reactions any).

With the stress of all going on in my life, PLUS the FIL living with us, I just had hit a limit. My body was rebelling and I had a panic attack.

Then, a break in the clouds...While it was not the best way for things to happen, it was not the worst (more neutral than anything)....The FIL has gone to my husband's sister's place to stay for a while.

NOW, I have the time to heal myself physically and mentally... And hopefully will be back on here more regularly...

Theotterone, I like the way you put it:

You know you've reached the limit when your body up and takes over.

I'm glad you have a respite. No need to respond: Did you anticipate things getting so stressful with your FIL around? Or, was his presence but a minor stressor?

Glad the FIL is leaving. That's got to be a relief! Good riddance to all FILs!

Er, what's a FIL?

I can't figure it out! Freaky In Law? Family Illegitimate Loner? Former Illicit Lover?

I went back through a few of your posts and can't find a clue. Hope I'm not the only one who doesn't know what this is. It will probably be something obvious. Mike

Before I respond to Rohag, thank you guys! Mike, it's ok, I laughed when I read your reply. My BFF has to explain a lot of "l33k" speak (texting and instant message short hand) to me!

We knew him being here would add to the stress to a point. I wasn't really thinking that would be the case and tada! It was! More of with everything else going on in our lives (My diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, the girls' being evaluated, huge job changes for me, D's and my own issues) it just was too much.

(By the way Mike, D is not any special short hand, that is how I refer to my husband. )

Really, I have to say that I am proud of myself. After taking care of D the last 3 weeks about it, I actually recognized I had to take care of me. So the next couple of days will be spent allowing my body to heal and relax and come "down" from running in high adrenaline constantly. Taking care of my self is not something I am used to doing...

Than you guys! I am very lucky to have found this place!

Sorry, but I can't help but laugh about this.
