When I used to come here before, there was a woman named Pat--I forget her username--and I haven't seen her posting since I came back. She was fond of using the expression, "That dog don't hunt." I know she was struggling financially at one point. When that pet food scare happened a while back, she mentioned that she feeds her dogs chicken and rice she made herself, and they love it.

Does anyone know who I'm talking about? And do you know what's happened to her? Thanks.

I remember Pat. Lovely woman. I can't remember her username for the life of me though. If I'm not mistaken, I think she left PC? Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong of course.

I think you might be talking about "Fayoredy" or something similar to that. She cancelled her membership.

e-mailed her gist of this thread and she was pleasantly surprised being remembered. she asked to briefly share:
Can you condense my life into two paragraphs? (since I left) Definitely tell them what my name was[Fayerody] and tell them that she died in February, unexpectedly, at age 7. Now I've started crying.......

I don't know that I can go "home" again.

She is currently not using any message board support system. We'd guess she's not sure if this would be home again ever as well.

The death of her beloved Fayeroe was devastating due to the sudden suspicious nature of it all. Fortunately now there is a new member to her pack to help fill the paws of companion/protector that had been Fay's job for the past several years.

She was very touched to have been remembered. That's something that's often hard for most of us w/ mental disease/disorder to know in our hearts--that we count and matter to others and we're not invisible.

mental illness can leave one feeling so alone and isolated against this sometimes cruel world.

and on that chipper note :\

Thanks __zh for letting us know. I'm so sorry to hear of her loss, especially under suspicious circumstances. I'd been wondering about her since I came back here myself.

Please wish her well and give her my best.
