No, you can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
And if you try sometime you find
You get what you need

does anyone see what is happening here? if we keep being divisive, snide, sly and rude...we might get what we need. we could lose a wonderful place to run willy-nilly in......and, personally, i like wind baths and running willy-nilly afterwards....... you can't always get what you want..........

You're wonderful people, "daughter." I was just quietly trying to communicate that "that stuff" is still going on. I've had it. I'm outta here. you can't always get what you want..........

nope, the beat is not going on here.

i feel that it is going on in your mind and that's okay. but it isn't going on here.......i will let you make of it, what you want to make. that's cool with me.

it is meant to be humourous, SM.....i am listening to the Rollingstones...i've always subscribed to the fact that i might not get what i "want", but i might get what i "need"..and frequently that is what has happened to me....and i want to have PC to run willy=nilly through and take all the wind baths that i want to take...i enjoy that...but maybe i don't know what i "need" and perhaps PC won't continue as it is...maybe i need that.

i enjoy humor. i enjoy life. i enjoy music.

and i am going to continue on, just the way i've always been. as i said, i'm cool with whatever you want to make of anything, concerning my posts.

I think "and the beat goes on" was in referrence to "it seems self-explanatory to me.", or that was my take on it.

On the radio this morning they were saying that Rolling Stone tickets were being scalped for $3,500! Geez thats expensive. I must be the only person on the planet who prefers the studio cuts to the live versions of songs.

I no longer knows what anything means. I meant it all to be lighthearted. I meant that I'm going to be me. I'm going to continue here. And it's cool if someone doesn't see my posts, as I see them.....That's just about all I can promise, folks. I'm going to pack my stuff, for the little move that is coming up soon....see ya, later, alligator........

I prefer studio cuts in all types of music, with the wonderful world of tech. it is nice to gain more clarity of instrumental and vocal vs live.
Filters, balancing, enhancments . . . amazing what man and tech. can do you can't always get what you want..........
Maybe cause I'm "old", I can't see paying out that kind of money for concerts these days you can't always get what you want..........
Perhaps we can take this thread over to "fun and music" forum?

Take care,
DE

Or leave the thread. Yell at me, not her.

If I may put in my 2 cents,
If we give snide remarks, we will get them back 10 fold, if we give support and humor we will get that back 20 fold, in other words, stop fighting and play like good children, we need compassion here right now

Mick and the boys always did seem to have a more open perspective to certain things (LOVE the Stones!!)

"Time is on my side..." Hopefully, in time, we can find a happy medium around here, but also remeber, it takes TWO (or more given the size of our 'family') to make things work or not work.

So, which do you want to be, the solution or the problem? Maybe if each of us answer that question as honestly as possible deep down in our souls, things will settle down and we can get back to a less hostile environment.

Dolfin

Even though Jerry tells me that I give away my power too easily, contrary to that, you didn't upset me. I also didn't give my power away by becoming upset on my own. It takes a whole lot more to %#@&#! me off.

Please take this in the way it was intended; FRIENDLY.
