the only significance of me being invisible is that I'm embarrassed at how much time I spend here.

If an LMo is in an online forum and nobody sees her, is she still there? ;-)

LOL

It may be some strange phenomena that more often than not when I check who's online, more members than not are invisible? How come if I try to go invisible, it still shows Grand Magnate (now how many of them do we have, and just how invisible is that?? lol) So I quit trying.

Of course... nah.

actually, I think they recently changed the way "invisible" members appear on the Who's Online screen -- is that what you're referring to? I noticed that myself

I found it significant that DocJohn was so quick to answer. Do you find it significant...

It kind of weirds me out, all the invisible people. I like to know who's in here with me.

OH no, neri, I didn't take it that way at all! Doctors (therapists) are taught to reframe what someone is thinking and turn it back to them to elicit a more elaborate response. HUH? What AM I thinking????

It very well could be significant... but that he doesn't see anything significant in it, and he has done this website stuff for years, then he in as much told me there's nothing to worry about, would I like to share what I am worrying about. (Or something along those lines. However, lately I have been really good at putting words in doctor's mouths!) I sure hope DocJohn speaks again soon. Do you find it significant...

I find it annoying because you can tell they're online by their posts. You can always run a search on that member and see when their last post was. LOL

Well I suppose by asking the question, you may already be tipping your hand -- that you do find it significant.

I only see it for what it is -- people want their privacy when online, when that's an option available to them. If I didn't think people's privacy was important, I'd disable that option. But since I do, people can and do use it. And that's perfectly alright by me...

I try not to read too much into things, unless I have a lot more information... Do you find it significant...

DocJohn
