Picked up my 30 day sobriety chip tonight! What a journey it's been. Feels like it took me forever to get here, yet it seems like yesterday I walked into my first meeting. Everyone gave me lots of hugs and my friend that got sober with me brought me a rose. Thanks for all the support and love you all have given me. You definetly helped me get here!

WOW......i couldn't believe i had like 18 replies! Thank you all soooo much for the wonderful words of encouragement!!! I did give myself a pat on the back parker, hehe. Angie, don't have a camera but maybe I'll borrow my friend's. Everyone, thank you so much for the dancing peppers, hugs, funny acronyms, etc. DocJohn, thank you for posting your sentiments, it means so much!
It's been an interesting road, but it's only gotten better. The worst of my days are still better then the best of my days drinking. I have recieved so much support and actually feel, omg, what is that? Pride? Wow. Hehe, again, thank you all and hugs go out to all of you too!!!!! Another day in paradise, Rayna

Went to my first A.A. mtg/treatment at age 15; today i'm 43 today.......you come a long way, baby!  and the w/ a positive way of thinking and the wonderful ppl that you meet around those tables today & further along into your journey....you will discover simple pleasures & beautiful things around you that you could never had before!
