Watching Wayne Dyer...

on Public Television. The subject is The Power of Intention. His daughter sang this song:

Before anyone gets upset, Dr. Dyer said that it's not a prayer of a religious matter. What you give is what you get in return. If you give out the energy of peace, you receive peace in return. If you give out the energy of love, you receive love in return, if the energy of creativity, you receive creativity; the energy of kindness, you get back kindness. There are Seven Faces but I can only remember these right now.

Perhaps a book to add to your list of good books to read would be The Power of Intention by Wayne W. Dyer.

It's not only your intention at work here, my dear friend. Some of us are not alinged with The Source that Dr. Dyer speaks of.

Don't let those that respond to a negative, low energy get to you. You answer to A Higher Source! They can't bring you down unless you allow it.

The Seven faces of intention.....creativity, kindness, love, beauty, expansion, unlimited abundance, and receptivity. It is all in your thought process....oh I would love to sit down and meet this man.

Thank you so much for posting the Seven Faces. I'd like to sit down and talk to the man face to face, too, but it would be another marathon like he did this morning on Public Television! LOL

Today, along with two books and other CDs, they were offering six CDs of a week long seminar he did in Arizona. My chin dropped to the floor when they said how much they wanted for them! Never mind what the cost of the seminar was! OUCHIES!! No doubt it was worth it, though!

My best friend Bonnie...she ordered his set of Inner Peace Cards ($21.95 Cdn) and 2 sets came in to her instead of the 1 set....she called them to let them know and they said to give a set to someone (which was me )...wasn't that cool of them though? Most companies would be asking you to send the other set back....and at your own expense LOL

When I am teaching my workshops....at the end of each evening I ask each student to pick out a card from the deck and write down the quote from the card. Sometimes they are amazed as to how the quote applies to them. Their homework is to do an act of kindness as well. LOL kinda funny actually as I am teaching business workshops...they are expecting homework on income statements, etc and here I am telling them to do an act of kindness.

Could you imagine meeting him, Dr. Phil and Oprah????

This is one of my fav quotes of his....."I enjoy my own company. You are always alone, but you're only lonely if you don't like the person you're alone with."

Yeah, but they're not in the business of doing "random acts of kindness."

You are really something else, ya know? Teaching your clients Kindness is sure something possitive. That's what this world needs more of.

... but I think if we practice RAKs, keeping this prayer in mind would make it so much easier to do.

If it feels like I'm pushing, maybe I am just a little. Something has taken this place away from what it used to be. We seemed to practice the above more readily in days past. If we ALL work together, maybe we can return this site to the best place on the internet once again. It still is, but there's always room from improvement.

All the information we need is "out there" and "in" here (inside ourselves.) We only need to open up to the possibilities! Unfortunately, in our fumbling learning ways, we often open ourselves up to those who see our vulnerbilities and use that time to catch us when we least expect it. He doesn't say much about that situation; I'm guessing he sees it as too negative. But it does happen; ignoring it only makes us ignorant.

Maybe he's hoping to get everyone thinking like him, which would be a good thing, but there's always EVIL lurking, waiting to hurt the unsuspecting.
