Could you give us an idea of the kind of physical symptoms that you mean?

I remember years ago, Harriet, when I was first diagnosed with depression, my anxiety took the form of extreme muscle spasm in my neck and back muscles, so much so that I had to have intense physical therapy every day (this was while I was inpatient) and I also developed IBS at the same time. I was pretty young, only around 33 or so, so it was primarily muscular and less skelatile. After I was taught relaxation techniques, I had less of that. But for years, I've struggled with clenching my teeth and have only recently learned not to do that because it resulted in the wearing down of my teeth and I had to have them crowned and rebuilt.
Anxiety can cause all kinds of gastrointestinal distress. But other than what I mentioned, I've not had any. I've had dizziness but it was from specific medications or blood pressure problems.
