Treats to cheer me up:

1) "Origins" Ginger Float Cream bubble bath
2) Eating an entire jar of sweet gerkins
3) Davies Gate Pink Grapefruit bath soak
4) As always, dog kisses
5) Silky Underwear body powder by Lush (thanks Gabbi for the recomendation!)
6) A professional pedicure
7) Fairie Jasmine bath bomb by Lush (but you had better like sparkling.)
8) Tonight, The Life Aquatic...but any movie that makes me smile would suffice.
9) Shopping for a new HUGE huggable stuffie, but pretending it's not for me. :-)
10) Comfy shoes 8W, not made of cows (almost impossible to find!)

Your turn. How do you cheer yourself up? I use these treats in various combinations....depending on what I can afford. Right now, I'm pretty much stinking to gerkins! Treats to cheer me up

This should be easy, but it's not.

- Going to Lake Michigan (and hoping it's not too cold and/or stinky that day).
- Eating tons of fresh salsa and not worrying about onion breath.
- Getting my hair trimmed.
- Taking a really hot bath to build up a good sweat and clean out my pores (but I'd prefer a sauna).
- Bath and Body Works Fig Body Scrub (messy, but leaves your skin super soft).
- Any movie the critics say I'm supposed to hate (i.e. Adam Sandler, Jim Carrey, Ben Stiller).
- Mini golfing with my kids.
- Noah's Ark water park with my kids.
- Sleeping in a bed with sheets that have been dried outside.

Oh this is a splendid idea for a thread!

Chocolate, really good expensive fair trade organic dark if I can afford it

Baths, hot steamy, lights dim

Coffee and zucchini bread taken out on the landing overlooking Budd Inlet, dreamy time to watch for seals and herons and maybe even an eagle

Novels that intrigue me yet are fun, inspiring, and easy when I need them to be, lately on a trend of light fantasy with humor, detectives that are magicians also type

Breakfast down at the New Moon Cafe, pancakes made with their own blackberry sauce, strong coffee

A new journal book

New music for my iPod Shuffle, tinkering around creating new playlists for whatever mood I am in

Blender shakes made with blueberries

Buying a magazine or the NY Times just cause

Fettucini, creamy garlic cheese sauce

Menthol rub stuff for aches and pains

Strolling around a friendly neighborhood, telling the cats out sunning that they are beautiful, admiring various gardens
