has anybody else thought at one point - "you know what? i don't care. i'm done with life, i couldn't give a *insert choice of swearword here* anymore. nothing feels real anymore, it's like my whole life has been something completely imaginary. i feel like i just don't care about anything." because i certainly feel that way now. is there anyway to snap out of it?

I am sorry you are in pain right now. Honestly only you can answer the question about what can snap you out of it so that you can keep going forward. Just as I am the only one who can answer that same question for me. I do know how you feel and get stuck in the despair an aweful lot of times.
I guess the best thing I can suggest to you is what I tell myself in those dark times. Since what I am doing isn't working what can I do differently in the moment that might help? Sometimes its to drag myself into the shower or outside for a walk. Maybe its tackling one small chore. Anything that can give me a reason to feel less useless or simply to provide a moment of pleasure or satisfaction or maybe just to be a distraction. Knowing what I am doing isn't working sometimes helps me make a choice to do something that will get me through the next few minutes or hours. You can't change the big picture by one action alone but one action after another after another can get you moving in the right direction. Try not to give up hope and believe in yourself and in better days. The magic three aren't really magic but good self care..... good diet, regular exercise and scheduled sleep. Focus on improving those things in your everyday and go from there. Wishing you only wellness. |

No you are not the only one that feels this way. That is when we try to help other people and try to take good care of the body as well. As for whining that is what we are here for to unload the BS so that we can finely look over it or through it. Like my Nana always said "When you are in a pile of popo you can't see very far that is why you have to clean the shed out once in while to get all popo out" That is what she called whinning with a purpose good luck!

Great tags! Uhm, yeah, I regularly feel that way. What keeps me going is that I know eventually, those times end. They never pass quick enough to suit me, but they do end. Not great words of wisdom. HUggs anyway and I hope you feel better soon.

((((0171292)))))) Wishing you well today. Take good care. You know you are not alone and together we can take a page from Anderson's Nana's book of wisdom and turn to each other to 'whine with purpose' when we need to get the popo out. Love that! LOL!
