Hold it together
Hold it in
No-one can see
How much I'm suffering.

Hold on
Hold it in
No-one can see how bad I'm feeling.

Always the strong one
Always the rock
Hold it together
Hold the darkness at bay at least for another day
No-one can see how much I'm suffering.

I hide my feelings under a mask of normality
I hide the dispear under a harden heart
Keep holding it together
Keep holding it in.

Hold it together
Hold it in.
Thanks for this!

Very nice.

Chinese proverb: Better to light one small candle that to curse the darkness.
Thanks for this!

A lovely poem Nerina that I think echoes how so many of us are feeling. Thank you for sharing.

Hello Nerina,That Poem You Wrote was really beautiful. I'm really not sure that holding back your feelings is really good for you. I am not a psychiatrist, but I think talking to someone about this depression that you have would really be helpful. Right now I am on antidepressant medication and I see a therapist once a week. It is still very very hard, but I guess we have to try. My son held things in as a young boy and he committed suicide. I don't mean to imply that you would, but it is best that you find help.
