went to vo-rehab in feb. qualified. evaluated by clinical psychologist. tested by testing program of rehab. scored high on all but math. was supposed to get T, after testing. didn't hear from counselor. tested at college for nursing. scored much better in math and went over on everything else. called counselor (rehab) and asked about T and my "plan". she reluctantly made appt for me. went in, she said, "i have concerns"....i asked what are they. she said, "it's very hard to get into nursing school". i said that i knew that. she said, "i'm concerned that you can't handle it, it's hard". i said that i could handle it. she ended by saying she has NOT written my plan and will talk to her supervisor. i waited. i called back. i have appt in 1 and a half hours. school starts in August. the first appt that i had, she was enthuiastic, etc, etc, etc. i'm starting to wonder if "getting" the client is their main goal and that they count beans..by that....i'm very upset with her. i still have no plan. this time, she said she was "waiting" for me to sign it!!!!!!!! i'm pissed....but it won't show. advice on what to say to nail her lazy *** (i know, that's harsh) so that she will do what she's paid to do. it's a state job......pat

If she is "waiting for you to sign" the plan - I would take the high road - meet with her, see the plan, if acceptable, sign it, thank her, and leave. You need her "plan" to get into school - if I am reading and understanding this, so I dont think I would want to tick her off - however, with that said - she would be the first person I would waltz in to see when I graduated from Nursing School !!!! :-) Good luck !!

It depends what she has written in the plan. The plan may be favorable, despite her concerns. It's possible she was just seeing how determined you were to succeed, testing you. If the plan is not in your favor, then you go up the chain and speak to her boss. Persistence!!!

about the plan, when i called, she made it sound like it was my fault that i had not signed it? i won't let her know at all that i'm pissed....she's unhappy, i can see that. i talked to another artist friend last night and she said that i am the most determined person that she knows.....and she also said to waltz in with my diploma, after i graduate!! thanks, guys........

Pat, tell her you must see the "plan" so it can be approved and signed by you. Then inform her after you've finished school you will be happy to show her your nursing skills in the hospital of her choice hahaha
