I'm so glad, to hear that someone is a bit happier! But maybe you shouldn't get off medication, just yet until a couple of days! Sure that you feel you don't need the any more.
i am sooooo excited!!

Yeah, to be safe, talk with you pdoc first before stopping meds. that is what doctors suggest, just to be on safe side.
With my pdoc's approval, we had tried dropping down my meds by 50mg, after 3 months I was okay but then started to sink, so I contacted him, he told me to go back to original dose. He said it was probably too early to start decrease due to life situations at the present time, so I complied.
Please consult your doc, so you won't have to risk spiraling down.
Please take care now,
DE

NO! This is an often made mistake, that once the meds do what they are supposed to, we want to get off them, forgetting it's the meds making us feel good! Don't tip the apple cart... stay stable for a while before trying to change anything ok? imo i am sooooo excited!! Glad you're feeling good!

I would think that you should stay on your meds because you feel great. that is just my opinion.

HALLIBETH!!

I am also celebrating your happiness today! I think you "deserve a psych vacation" after all you've been through... i am sooooo excited!! BUT, going off all meds is NOT a wise choice; let a few of the others mentioned....the meds are suppose to make you feel better! i am sooooo excited!! I've always looked at the "med situation" just like "remission" in cancer.....specifically, the movie "Dying Young" I'm NOT meaning to imply that this is "just a moment" of your "good" mental state......but I suggest that if you continue to feel better, you'd be wiser to suggest "cutting the dose" over an extended period of time! I've seen way too many ppl feel great & just "drop" their meds.......it's NOT a good thing........just a suggestion...........in the meanwhile,
i am sooooo excited!! i am sooooo excited!! i am sooooo excited!! i am sooooo excited!! i am sooooo excited!! i am sooooo excited!! i am sooooo excited!!

Peace in Your Journey, DAYZEE
