just here to say I check in once in a while, but my computer is very slow on this site, and it's dial up, and I'm usually feeling horrible so have no patience or words....I'd like to keep in touch but the forces of doom are getting to me

Hi Jeanie, if you go into your user settings in Your Profile you can turn off seeing all of the Avatars and pictures/animations in the signatures...just turn them off. You'll be able to cruise around this site faster.

good to see you. You can also set your computer to a lesser quality of pictures, if you still wish to see the avatars here, but don't want to wait for full quality. Make sure you clear your cache.. especially if you frequent the photo gallery.
