I was just about to post how sad I am because there is a possibility that we are going to have to foreclose our home. And then it hit me that it does me absolutely no good to dwell on this. Instead of spending my time worrying about foreclosure and bankruptcy, etc., I am going to focus my time on taking advantage of the opportunities in front of me. I have been hired as a consultant for a temporary project and need to focus my time and energy on doing a great job so I can hopefully get more work. So I am going to get offline and go work on the project plan.

I refuse to be a victim. I am a fighter. I am getting advice from smart, experienced people to deal with these financial/legal issues. I will not give up. Life is tough. Millions are experiencing financially difficult times, so I am not going to get caught up in a "poor me, I'm worthless" thinking. I am a wonderful person with a big heart who has had to deal with adversity his entire life. There is always something to be thankful for. I am going to be a better person every day spiritually, physically, emotionally and intellectually. Life is tough. So am I. Let me get to it. Whining and feeling sorry for myself accomplishes nothing. And I am going to give myself permission to have fun and will purposely bring humor into my life. I love to laugh. I am at my best when I am joyful, so I will make a concerted effort to bring joy and laughter into my life.

I will try to visit PC to inspire and get inspired. God bless all of you!!

Five things to be grateful for today:

1. Got in the gym despite not getting a lot of sleep last night, and had a very good cardio workout - Good job!
2. Had a tasty, inexpensive lunch with my wife today in a part of town we hadn't been to before. Helped her think through some discussion points for a meeting she has later this week. She is such a good person and wants to make a good impression, so I want to help her.
3. It was an absolutely beautiful day!
4. Took a "4-inning" nap. Was watching a ball game and fell asleep. Love naps.
5. Fun watching the game. The opposing team came from behind. Oh well, my team is still off to a good start.

(((Renovation)))..Good for you!! Life may get you down but dont let it keep you there! We all have so much to live for, and so much to be grateful for although we may not feel like it. Medication and therapy helps but in the end we have to decide for ourselves to be happy. We have to pursue it and it is not found in the things we have...I do pray your faith brings many blessings your way. You are in my prayers!
Thanks for this!
