Not sure if this is the right place to post this.

someone once posted this and i feel it describes betrayal very well.

betrayal is the willful slaughter of hope.

feel like i have experienced so much betrayal in life, that hope is gone inside.
Thanks for this!

I applaud you for this. It also shows that you have Courage to begin again............

JMO--You still have hope, courage, and a will to get on with the healing---

((((Sunshine))))

I am so glad you are a part of pc and that you are reaching and defeating that feeling of betrayal we all have felt throughout our lives at times. Knowing that feeling for so long and the hope that I lost for so long, it has been renewed coming here and finding those that connect, support, encourage, and give a hug sometimes.

You are breaking through that betrayal and reaching out once again. Looking forward to hearing more from you. Sending gentle hugs and loving thoughts. Always.

Do not let the betrayals beat you, Sun. Do not quit on yourself. You deserve a meaningful life. Going to take some work to get it, but you can do it.

(((Sunshine))) Im in the process of trying to repair the damage as well. I pray that complete healing will be yours soon. It will take some time and work. Realizing the hurt and putting it into words is a good place to start, so youre on your way.

Loss of hope is the worst thing of all. I am feeling that myself right now and I dunno if I even want to ever be hopeful again. It seems better to know that you really cannot ever trust anyone again. The people you love the most will hurt you the most, so to be safe and smart, it would be better not to ever be really involved with anyone ever again.

People can try to slaughter hope in others. The attempt does not necessarily succeed.
