what is the deal with mindfulness meditation? Does anyone have anything good to say about it?

My T and I talked alot about mindfulness and my thoughts. I have some literature on it somewhere. I will try to dig it up and PM you with some info. K?

i'm doing it. it's made all the difference in my daily world. actually, i'm doing dialetical behavior therapy and the basis for that is mindfulness. it's been an awesome experience in training my mind to slow down and be "in the moment". here's a really long and informative thread about it:
