I am a rather quiet member........but I read the boards daily and have always admired your posts.

I know "admired" sounds like an odd word to use to describe someone's posts but trust me it fits.......

You are always positive. When you offer advice it was always in a way that made that advice sound like..."I am sure you would have thought of this" as opposed to "I can't believe you haven't or you really SHOULD or NEED to do this". You gave the poster advice but valitated what they were feeling as well......very difficult to do...

From your posts I have always felt that you were a kind, fair, and truly compassionate person. Hope you hang around .

WHile I have not had any personal contact with you via the boards, I always thought you were very nice, offering heartfelt welcomes, and support. You will be missed ! I do hope you will be here from time to time, or whenever you are able. I know it must be hard to step-down (been there done that), but sometimes we have to take care of ourselves, in order to help others. Best of everything to you !

I haven't visited this site long enough to really know you, but I appreciated your helping make me welcome. No matter your reasons for resigning, the legacy you have left is heartwarming.
They are saying "well done."

No.No.No! I don't want you to go! You are the heart, while DocJohn is the soul, of the forums. Like most everyone else, it was you who first welcomed me here and sensed when I needed a PM from you. You are that warm, cozy spot where we go when we need a hug. I can only imagine you not being administrator if you were here with us all the time, like before you were administrator. (all of this said in my whiniest of voices). Sweet Ozzie, heart of the forums, friend of all who enter here, we love you and whining aside, we want what is best for you......love and peace.....lady2B

it breaks my heart to lose someone as dear to me as you as an admin..

You have been the soul of this place and one of the reasons I came back.. Because you and Doc and so many of the other mods make it feel safe here..

I will so dearly miss your face amoung the admins and mods..

You have given me advice that no one else could have when I needed it.. and I will so miss it..

But i understand the stepping down..

Lots of love and admirations do a good job.. YOu have did a wonderful job while you were here, and will be so missed by me and so many ohters.

Ozzie,

I am so sad to hear of your resigning. I understand though; we all need to realize our priorities and put ourselves before anything else. I am sure this was an extremely difficult decision for you to come to, and I support you through it. I will sorely miss you, and hope you do remain on as a member, offering your (often) infinite wisdom to those of us that so desperately need it at times.

I agree with may who have posted; you are definitely the soul of PC, and your presence as an Admin will be missed by so many.

You have been there for me during some (in hindsight seemed to be) trivial times, as well as very hard times and it has meant so much to me. I will miss you.

I wish you the best of luck and well wishes in all your future endeavors.

Susan, when I first responded I had no idea that you would leave the site altogether! NO NO NO You must stay!!!! This site is as much you as you are of the site: a legendary!!!! That says so much.

But you have read every post and responded to so many of the newest members here when, if you were to go to another site many times ppl aren't welcomed for a week or more if ever! Yes, being admin is a tough line to walk... and can cause even the most stable person to waiver at times, but your efforts to be human with your decisions was always the underlining factor... and that's important. The site still needs you for that. We still need someone to read our posts and at least let us know SOMEONE did!!!! You always did that for us. I know you fought battles in the background too, to help keep the site safest for all. You simply must stay!
(Looking for ball and chain for your leg....)
The site won't be the same without you. I will rethink my own staying if you leave, as you are part of it's history and a stablizing force. I wonder how it will change if you leave... Your absence WOULD be felt, and I'm not sure anyone other than DocJohn can maintain that balance here which takes so much time and patience and thought. So ya just gotta stick around, hon, you gotta.
