Thanksgiving. Focusing on the positive. Wow. I've got family. Would like to be nearer to them, but still focusing on what I am thankful for right now. I am thankful for you all. I know I haven't been on much at all lately and well, I really needed to start getting back on here because it really does me a world of good.
I am thankful I have a roof over my head. My wonderful cats with their cute little personalities. I have a big turkey thawing in the kitchen. Looking forward to the parades on tv. I'm greatful that I've gotten as far on my grant for pets who's owners can't afford to care for them...so now they will be able too. Keeps the pet and the owner together. I am in the budget proposal tweeking stage. It's really easy to get a grant for school, but writing a grant to assist financially challenged pets is a lot more involved. I'm greatful that I don't live in the frozen tundra that is New England. Bless you all that live there. Just wanted to check in and write about Thanksgiving.

Great that you have gotten so far on that proposal! No wonder that you haven't been here so much! you've been busy living! HUGGGSSSS!

Great to hear you again, NF! I've been away, too, but not for nearly such good reasons as yours. Bless you for your grant application and proposal. Truly a worthy pursuit. You appear to be other-centered, which should bode well in holidays as well as other times, altho family, like yours and mine, are far away. You have a great family who cares for you here. billieJ

Good to see you posting here NF. Glad the grant writing is going well. I have put together grant proposals before & know just how complicated they can be.....so many details are necessary to even be considered. I think I have a new cat that on my farm. I have driven into my driveway several nights & a little white cat has run down the hill from the back of my driveway......ah, a pure white cat to go with my pure white eskie dogs. Maybe they won't notice that it's a cat???? Looks like I will be adding another mouth to feed this winter. I was wondering why I hadn't noticed any mice in my house this fall.....think the little cat is keeping them away......a little food is a small price to pay for having a mouser around here. Not that I like my mice killed, but I don't like them in my house either. Ah, if all people loved animals as you & many of us do.....can't imagine life without them. One of my most important things to be thankful for also this year. Keep up the good work for a very good cause. Happy Thanksgiving
