I came across this today...

http://www.metro.co.uk/weird/840339-...-health-issues

...a German toymaker has made and sells toys which he advertises to have mental health issues. I don't really know what to make of it, but I thought I'd post a link here in case anyone was curious/had a view on it...

They're kind of cute, at first I didn't know what to think, but I read the article and I do like what they have done. xD I almost feel like buying a few for some friends...

The snake is cute... but I don't like to focus on my screwed up ness. Plus there is no cat, giraffe or owl.

There is also a very cute game involving these animals on the toymakers website.
http://www.parapluesch.de/ it starts when you hit spiel. I recommend it although it could trigger I suppose.

they are sweet and will definitely raise awareness of mental health issues, they appeal on all levels, as a cute cuddly toy for children, girlfriends etc, as an understanding token of friendship for those with the same dxs as the toys and as a starting point for the reserved beginner in therapy! so overall a good idea, i wish the maker luck, more things like this he better afterall, ethnic acceptance came about with the introduction of ethnic toys among other things!
