Has anyone else ever experienced fear of the supernatural or otherworldly? For lack of better words. I didn't used to really believe in angels or demons or ghosts or any of that. I don't know why I do now but I increasingly find myself researching and reading up on paranormal topics and folklore etc. I don't know what prompted this. Now I am constantly thinking about what could be out there.

I've done that before!
I'm generally pretty skeptical of the "supernatural", so it doesn't bother me.
As far as "otherworldly" goes I've seen enough and have the mindset that I often question things (regardless of what it is).
It's perfectly fine to be curious and I think it takes a good understanding of something before you question it.

I've found there's some weird facts and theories out there...

I'm not to scared of any aliens. I mean, I do believe in them, but why would they be interested in us is beyond me? Humans seem to love to believe that we're special and important xD, u know like aliens want to use us cause they need us to survive, or they want to enslave us or want our nuclear weapons. My theory is, if aliens exist somewhere (and i do believe they do, maybe not anywhere close by but come on, if life can form here it can somewhere else too!) and if they ARE able to travel to earth, then they've probably already checked us out and left. I mean if they can travel to earth they have technology beyond ours and got everything all sorted out pretty much. If they can travel anywhere they wanna go, i doubt they're gonna want our polluted and corrupt little planet.

so basically with that theory, there's nothing to be scared of!

Ares, we are highly influenced by what we expose ourselves to - whether it's other people or what we decide to read, watch, engage in, etc. If I watch a horror movie, I will feel scared. I don't like feeling scared so I never watch horror movies. Ask yourself why you are engaging in the study of the paranormal.

Well sure. Why do you think there are so many books and movies on the supernatural....ghosts, vampires, werewolves, zombies? We love to be scared. Probably because it's easier to deal with fears outside ourselves than the ones inside.

Sometimes. I have had some pretty strange experiences, still do, but I cmae t the point where I just said, "You know, I'm baptised, and I have to believe I made my choice for a reason." I've felt a lot better sine then and I don't feel as vulnerable anymore, even if sometimes I still notice odd things from time to time. My God is wth me.
