So today is my first day of a 10 day vacation. Much needed I must say. Work has been pretty stressful lately. I am going to go to the bank today to pay my loan and balance my checkbook and I have a couple phone calls to make. After that it's off to the tattoo shop to hang out with my artist for a while. Then tonight, if I get a phone call, I have a date. The date thing can go or not... I don't much care one way or the other on that one. If the date happens, I'm going to a Haloween party. If not, then I'm headed out to one of the local bars to meet up with my friends for some hanging out, pool shooting, and dart throwing.
Tomorrow will be a whole lot of apartment setting up since I've been kind of putting that off. Tomorrow night will be more of the same hanging out. Sunday is my grandpa's birthday so the family is getting together at his place for some good ole southern BBQ and cake and ice cream. YUM!!! Then from there it's off to a friends house for some poker. Monday through Friday is basically time to relax. Maybe work on the car a little and clean out the work van. Nothing major. My friends Steph and Lane (Lane's the one from the party last week) are supposed to be back in town this weekend and we'll be hanging with them. This will be Lane's last chance to come up to see us before going off to Iraq (keep him in your thoughts and prayers and whatever else... Steph and their kids too). Then Sunday is my house warmimg get-to-gether. And to finish it all off, Monday is BACK TO WORK!  Just thought I'd share.Ry

tattoo shop????? gonna get you a tattoo while your there???? It sounds to me that you have a very good plan for your vacation
Ahhh for me to be on vacation.........wait i don't ever get vacation lol

No new tattoo. Just hanging out with my artist. He and I have been friends for about 5 years or so. The shop has these big comfy couches and we hang out and watch movies or play video games when he's not tattooing and when he is, I sit in the back and shoot the breeze with him and his customer. I usually try to get up there to visit once a week or two. Ry

Sounds like you're gonna be having a good time with friends and family.... and then you even get time to relax too! Woo hoo! I'm glad you're getting some time for yourself, Ryan. I'm friends with my tattoo artist too...LOL. We hang out all the time. I'll certainly keep your friend that's going to Iraq in my prayers. Take care!

Sounds like fun. See, if I go to a tattoo shop....I'm not leaving without one
. Hubby and I got one together about a month ago for our anniversary. Maybe you'll rethink it and get one anyway. Love ya, Jen |

I had a reaction to the one on my leg because of the shaving (I don't normally shave my legs). My artist said, and the doc agreed, that anymore tattooing before the infection is completely gone would more than likely cause it to spread. But I'll be getting more work done sson. Ry

Sounds good to me. I'd love to get a tattoo but am scared of the pain. Its wierd I can SI but to get a tattoo scares the beejeezus out of me. Oh well, glad you are going to get some time to relax. Don't forget about us while on R & R.
