I don't find you a pain. I think you are just hurt and needing support. I am too, so if I call you a pain, I have to call myself one too. Take care of yourself and know we care about you.

Ty everyone.... looks like its not gonna happen. I think partly why I am feeling icky is because it looks like I am getting the cellulitis back again. Ugh.

Hi Beth --

I know when we are prone to anxiety, our minds can seize on most any detail to fret about. OTOH, many of us with anxiety have very real issues and material problems to be anxious about -- illnesses, unemployment, job worries, dangerous and crumbling relationships, and so on.

Cellulite, schmelulite. This is another one of those BS problems that society persuades us we need to fret about. I don't think cellulite even existed for my mom and her generation.

You are still you and loveable with cellulite. Honest.

Cellulitis

By Mayo Clinic staff

Cellulitis (sel-u-LI-tis) is a potentially serious bacterial infection of your skin. It appears as a swollen, red area of skin that feels hot and tender, and it may spread rapidly.

Skin on the lower legs or face is most commonly affected by this infection, though cellulitis can occur on any part of your skin. The infection may only be superficial, but it may also affect the tissues underlying your skin and can spread to your lymph nodes and bloodstream.

Left untreated, the spreading bacterial infection may rapidly turn into a life-threatening condition. That's why it's important to recognize the signs and symptoms of cellulitis and to seek immediate medical attention if they occur.

{{{{{{Bethy}}}}}}

How could someone who is such a pleasure to know ever be considered a pain?

You are never a pain... if you feel that way that must be depression talking... let us shoe those feelings away.

I hope you can get some treatment for your celulitis quickly, and feel better soon.

expect too much

</div></font></blockquote><font class="post">

Ummm... can I speak to you about this one like the one I did before? Sorry~ Sorry~

Baby, you and I are perfectionists probably because of our abuse and wanting to do ANYTHING to please people. We go out of our way, we put our best foot forward, we reach places we haven't been in a long time or ever before... and we EXPECT people to appreciate or at the very least acknowledge what we've done. After all, we've damn near killed ourselves in the effort. {{{{{{{{{Bethy}}}}}}}}}

We CAN put EXPECTATIONS on people that are too high... We went to believe, we want to trust in people and in what the say. After all, WE would have kept our word, WE would have at least put in an appearance. Not every one is like us. In fact, Baby, you and I are in the minority.

As for your open house... the response you got... when you book something like that, don't expect more than one third of the invitations you sent out to respond. That's just the way it is. I've done that kind of work before and I "apaprenticed" with a friend that was pretty successful at that kind of thing. I STILL don't know how she did it.

Bethy, give yourself a chance, ok Babe? This was your FIRST open house. It takes a while to work up a following that will in turn book parties for you.

And here's another good posibility... all the moving around and all the work you did? That's probably what got the celulitis going again. Sorry~ I could kick myself for not mentioning it to you BEFORE... but would you have listened? Probably not. Take this as a learning experience, Babe. It's not a negative experience, if you choose to think of that way. It's a lesson you learned, an experiment that you did. Step back and look at your results then figure what you will do different next time... like not so much PHYSICAL WORK! Save your health, Sweetie. Sorry~ Send out MORE flyers and EXPECT at least a third to respond. NEVER count on people from hubby's work. Those were MY lessons... for what they're worth.

BTW, that friend of mine that I "apprenticed" myself to? She's just like YOU are; artistic. Her house is as beautiful as YOURS. She's quite successful at what she sells and it's mostly from October to December. It's only Christmas stuff.

You can hang in there, take it easy and you very well could build yourself quite a little business, ya know? Sorry~

It's gonna be okay, Baby. I promise! Sorry~

*I* have had cellulitis... in fact, it took me to the ER one night. It is EXRTEMELY, EXTREMELY PAINFUL! It takes MONTHS to get rid of, it makes you run a fever and scream in agony.

I don't know that my mother or "the other" ever had it, I SURE HAS HELL HAVE!!
