Hi Jan. Gosh..I just don't know where to begin. It's like youhave been hit by an Earthquake! It can't be easy being you is a correct statement. I really do hope things lighten up for you. I have been homeless in my long life..and it is not fun. God bless

Hi Sky,

Thank you so much. I have no one who can or will help me. There is a six month waiting list for nursing aides here. I have family here, but they didn't even call to see if I needed anything and they knew about the health problems. Except for bathroom visits, I spent 34 hours in bed because I was so weak, and no one knew it. I got my flu shot yesterday and now I'm running a temperature, have aches and pains, sore throat, etc. Hopefully it will be gone tomorrow. Thanks, Sky.

grrrr what IS it with "family"???????? I've done that... in bed and all ... cept for my dog needing food and all... I've had to crawl on my hands and knees to do that sometimes! I'm sorry... no one should have to suffer like you do!

I too have not been here much lately due to personal & physical stuff that is hard to express in words. I am glad you are feeling enough better to be able to let us in on some of the problems you have been having. "when it rains it pores".....seems to be the motto of many of us. I am so sorry your health has been down.....pneumonia is a horrible thing to go through....have had it many times during my life...& the more I have it the more I get it back. It seems like everything that was supposed to help you caused another problem worse that what was being helped. Sure your frustration level must be fairly high right now too. Sounds like you just need a lot of time to rest & recover now.....fighting off physical problems exhausts our bodies.

I hope after you feel better physically that you will be able to relocate to a safer place.....it has to be horrible living in fear of being mugged when you go to or from your car. You are such a loving caring person that I hope we can return some of what you are always there to provide to us.

Maybe when you are better we can have a tea & scone party again....something to look forward to????

Take care of yourself & take it easy....poke in here when you are feeling up to it....you have my love & support in feeling better.

You know Sky, I don't understand "family" at all. When I worked and had money to share they were there. Now, they aren't. At least that's what it seems like to me. They let me be homeless in the winter. Lovely people.

I would love to have a dog, but I'm so afraid I wouldn't be able to take good care of it, so I won't try to get one because I know they wouldn't help me.

Ah well, they have to answer for it, not me.
