Been a yukky week so far. If it's not one thing it's another. So much to deal with. One big part is physical issue. I've had my migraine - again; my jaw hurts really bad because of the stress and clenching (even in my sleep), and darn it - possible bladder infection. I hate having to go to the washroom so often, especially at night. I'm on antibiotics - new one for me, and I have to worry about whether I'm allergic to this or not. I'm already allergic to certain kinds of antibiotics.

I have to bump up my asthma meds which make things worse, like anxiety, jitteriness. YUK!

I'm bouncing between helplessness and hopelessness.

So YUKKY!!!!!!!!!!

(((ss))) gotta wear that night guard! Usually the first time you take a new med (that has nothing in it you've reacted to before) you can take it ok..it might not work but it might not react. I'm sorry to hear you are suffering. Feel better.

I have suffered from chronic UTI symptoms and they always seemed to arrive when stress was at its peak. It has helped me a lot to always drink lots of water - especially if other meds are dehydrating - take calcium citrate vitamens (extra bonus that this is also good for strong bones) and lay off the chocolate. I've also found temp relief taking a nice warm bath using Alveno oatmeal bath solution.

Hope you feel better soon.

((((((tomi, peanuts, sky)))))) thanks. I don't eat chocolate, so I'm ok there. The bath sounds nice. Just venting but Alveno? Isn't that for itchiness?

I forgot about that night guard. Should use it. Thanks for the reminder.

I got cranberry juice tonight, because I heard it's good for UTI. or something. I wonder if there's any difference between red and white cranberry.

I have an appointment with my doc. next week, so I'll know for sure what I've got.

Wow SS, sounds like it has been a yucky week so far & it's only Wednesday. I was going to suggest the cranberry juice too.....it is great for the UTI's....I don't know the answer about a difference between red or white.....wouldn't think much but you never know.

I can really symphasize with your migraine.....I had migraines (or maybe it was one huge migraine) 24/7 for over 5 years....couldn't get out of bed except to go the the bathroom from the nausea, had to have my room completely dark, quiet, with no smells. Tried all the migraine meds & meds that were supposed to help migraines & any procedure the Dr's could think to do that might have an effect...even neck fusion surgery. Ended up in the ER every 3 days for a 200mg shot of demoral....being accused of being "drug seeking" when I was only "pain relief seeking" Nothing worked until I finally found a pain specialist who was willing to put me on a very high dose of narcotics (duragesic fentynal patches 200ug/hr). At that dose I should be wearing my cloths inside out & backwards, not able to walk a straight line, & should just plain be out of it at the low weight I am at. I have successfully been on that level for 3 years now & I can now function, ride & train for my dressage horse riding, eat things I enjoy again even though I don't eat much anyway, & just plain live again.

I didn't do the clenching thing but grinded my teeth (which I still do).....several broken teeth from that too. Hope your night guard helps your jaws.

Allergies to meds.....I can relate to you on that too. I have about 1/2 page of allergies including things like benedryl (which closes up my breathing) which is supposed to help allergies....penicillan, & even keflex which makes my mouth & tound swell up. The asthma meds cause problems with me too.....albuteral causes my potassium to drop to a dangerous level. Then to top that off, when I was in the hospital last year for asthma, they tried a new med for it (Foradil) & ended up loosing my voice as the reaction to the med. When I was having the migraines I ended up with symptoms of parkinsons...found out that was a reaction to the compazine I was being given for the nausea.

Allergies are the pits aren't they?

I hope your Dr appointment next week will help straighten things out for you..I can really feel for what you are going through right now.....feeling it won't get better & trying so hard to just get by. I really hope you start feeling better soon....will be thinking of you.
Debbie

Yes, Alveno is also used for kids who have chicken pox as a reliever of the itchies. I use it because it is mild and doesn't further irritate my bottom which is already inflamed with UTI etc. It is soothing for my skin. It does seem kind of funny to be bathing in oatmeal.

feel better soon.

Hey there. Sorry for the troubles. Was thinking about your asthma recently. For UTI or other urine burning issues many people take paridium. Makes your pee orange but helps. Also, lidocaine gel if you are sore on the outside can help temporarily. Good luck.

((((((((Peanuts, WW))))))))) - I hurt on the inside - deep inside. Also, it doesn't have the burning feel. It just hurt.

I had clear, red, and yellow, but don't believe I ever had orange pee. Ugh, i gotta get my head out of the toilet.
