Today I am thankful for:
My sobriety. 7 months today!!!!! The fact that I can enjoy my family without trying to limit drinks. That I have an honest relationship with my family today, and I'm actually excited to see them. I can come here and spend Thanksgiving with my virtual family. I'm alive and happy!!!

I'm thankful for:
3 happy , healthy kids (all sitting here watching the Macy's Parade!) A wonderful husband Being ALIVE! All of my wonderful friends here. You all are like family to me!  (Congrats Rayna on 7 months sober!!!! Woo Hoo!!)

Hi folks,
I'll tell you what I am thankful for. I am thankful that I can come here when I have a blip in my 3d life. PC has been a kind of process for me, and has helped teach me to take some knocks and not give up. I guess that is exactly what a support group does, and PC does it for me!! Cheers, M |

I am thankful for having 4 wonderful children. In good health. I am also thankful that they are well-educated. Thank you God!!

I'm thankful each day is a new day and a chance at a new beginning. I'm thankful I have the freedom to change my mind and make my own choices. I'm thankful for my health. I'm thankful for my independence. I'm thankful for my dogs who've, in their own way, have taught me how to love openly and unconditionally.
I, too, am thankful for the people here at PC.

many things.. for DocJohn and PC of course! for my freedom, my faith, my dog ,and that I'm not in level 10 pain
 for my T, my car and home, the cooler weather right now, my bed and pillows and color tv...

I am thankful to my hair dresser today, I havent been to him for over a year and i have been cutting my own hair here and there.... anyway, he did a tremendous job and boosted my confidence a great deal. Hehehe, he's a typical Italian man, charming and a flirt, but he made me feel good all the same.

I am happy that I have a fantastic job, beautiful friends and that I feel like that I am finally sorted in my own mind.
I don't believe that any one thing can control you, so I mean - I love to enjoy a wine or some drugs of some sort now and again. How can a person let substances control them? lol at them ... |
