Hello PC!!

Did anyone miss me? LOL Just got back from spending the day at the ER. Due to lack of meds yet again, my body went into withdrawals from lack of my heart medicine which keeps my heartbeat steady and at a normal pace. Got all the bells and whistles with the fire truck and ambulance, too! When I do it up, I don't mess around!

I often wondered how it would be when and IF I would ever have to call 911 for myself. The woman that lived here before me had the paramedics out at the very least, once a week. However, it could never be ONE fire truck or ONE ambulance. It was always two with extra personel. She weighed 500 lbs. I don't weigh near that much, but I'm uncomfortable with my weight. I could only imagine what the guys thought when they got called here! OMG!! Fortunately, for them as well as me, I was able to roll down to the ambulance door on my power chair.

Anyway, I'm fine now... and I even got my ego boosted a little. I had the CUTEST!!! male nurse and we had such fun flirting with each other! LMAO When they cut me lose, I sat up in the gurney, he unplugged me from all the "network", picked up my bra that I had been laying on and said "Here, don't forget this!" as he waived it from one of the straps. Of course, I grabbed it and wadded it up, but we were in stitches!! OMG, HE WAS SOOOO CUTE!!

So, hubby having been a bit of an *** while I was laying around waiting for test results, I did manage to walk out of there with a great big smile on my face.

picked up my bra that I had been laying on and said "Here, don't forget this!" as he waived it from one of the straps.

Should've autographed it for him with you phone number.

LOL Yeah, Beta Blockers. The doctor gave me a prescription for 100 which will get me through and then some to when my private insurance kicks in. We got the insurance cards today for next year. LOL Is that ironic, or what? hehehe

I'm sorry to hear something fell through the cracks on your meds.. glad to hear you're ok and made the best of it....

I am *so* glad you're ok, and that you were conscious enough to appreciate the male nurse. I certainly understand that. A few years ago, when I was down in the US visiting a friend, I got into trouble with my asthma. OMG the doc who took care of me - he was so good looking, touching my face when fiddling around my mask, trying to calm my breathing down .

Did you get his name? Will you pop into the ER again for a follow-up?

Next time you'll have to lasso him...

Yup! If I hadn't been conscious and had caught a glimpse of him, I would have been sure I'd died and gone to heaven and was being attended by an angel! I'm not kidding! This guy was ... WOW!!!!!!!! DAMN! I can't remember his name, though!

It lifts your spirits almost right away! I hadn't felt any anxiety until I could tell we were pulling into the hospital. In the room, I could really feel like I wanted to jump up and run out and this beautiful creature walks in all sure of himself. Just about then I started thinking that maybe I might just stay. LOL

If I get my nerve up, I just might call the ER and find out what his name is. LOL

Oh, boy! I'm relieved, too! It wasn't much fun feeling my heart go haywire in my chest! Now I know what my middle son means when his heart stops doing what mine did. He says his chest feels empty. Mine did! I even asked the nurse if my heart was still beating after he game me the shot to make it beat right! Too weird! Don't EVER want to do that again!! Can't figure out what would be acceptable to get me back into that ER and see that nurse again. LOL

I'm sorry, Be! LOL The little girl that took over for him when he went to lunch was just "nice," ya know? No fun, no kidding or anything.

Get this! When he came back from lunch, he brought me my lunch! I couldn't believe it! It was just a cold turkey sandwich and a bowl of chicken noodle soup with no chicken. LOL I'll tell ya! It sure hit the spot, though!

Don't worry! I've got my meds now that will get me through until I can see my regular doctor. I'm kinda mad at him, though, because no one told me I'd have withdrawals if I missed my meds. Someone should have warned me!

Oh, well. I'll know better from now on!
