Like I'm not lost enough? Lost in Psychcentral How do you keep track of where you've posted so that you can go back and read answers? Also, with so little time, and being a control freak; how do you manage to go thru all the forums and posts that you want to? I think I'm developing OCD here.... or is it adhd that I have?
ok.... bad thread again.... someone kill it or I might delete it in a few... THAT IS, IF I CAN FIND IT!?!?!

You could try adding threads to your favourites? When you post, tick the top box that comes up, and then it remembers the post in your favourites. And also, you can PM me anytime if you feel lost and lonely.

Another thing you can do is, create a text file, and write down the threads you posted to under the dates you posted. You can delete the older ones.

I tried using the Favorite Threads thing, but I just had too many to delete later. Right now, I'm just using memory. And I rarely have enough time to go through all the forums, let alone all the threads.

Hazel Eyes,

Just a quick note to comment on how your post made me chuckle. I'm still trying to get my navigation more organized, so know you're not alone.

Welcome,

Jane

You can also view ONLY the forums that you prefer, rather than the whole listing/site. It's also a settings preference.

If you get lost again, stick up a hand and someone will come get you! Lost in Psychcentral

You'll figure out your own system that will land you right in the swing of things in no time, I'm sure.

Glad you're here. Lost in Psychcentral

I also found that I can do a "search" on my PC name & that shows me everywhere I posted. When you put the curses on your response in the search directory it takes you to that thread you posted in.

I also like the idea of the "favorites" in order to find other posts.....but "search" is what I use most other than just skimming.

In addition to agreeing with all the above, I also try to trust in the timing. That I'll punch the right button to take me to the right place to participate in a way that is right for me in the given moment. It has to do with intent. I know I can't "do it all" and try to stay within my emotional and physical boundaries, and take care of myself, while I learn how to do this inernet stuff....... ALSO: add learing to trust that folks will forgive me if I miss a post or goof up somehow. In other words, relax, we're all in the same boat.....

Well, it's always nice to worry about something, isn't it? Just in case things turn into hell.. Then we won't be as disappointed. ..... Lost in Psychcentral Lost in Psychcentral
