I am starting to say things out-loud that make me look ridiculously stupid and even things that are can actually get me arrested.
( Not too long ago I was buying alcohol but I was with an underage girl and I blurted something out that completely sounded like I WAS buying it for her. I was refused service, they didn't call anyone luckily. Even though i wasn't buying it for her, she was only using the bathroom, but I could of still gotten arrested if they had any reason to believe that I was.)

I'm not sure what I can do to re-train myself to think before I talk instead of just blurting out whatever I think all the time. I feel like I literally have little to no control over what comes out of my mouth.

Hi Volitile,
Sorry you are struggling. I think that you need to seek the help of a psychologist to help you find out why this is happing and a psychiatrist to see if there may be a need for a medication.
Let us know how you make out.

this is just some kind of nervous reaction I'm sure. I doubt it's something that needs to be medicated. I just need to slow down i guess.

Actually, we all, including you, have total control over what comes out of our mouths. If you are saying things that might get you into trouble, it's because some part of you wants to get you into trouble. You can wait until you really do get into trouble or you can try to investigate and fix the situation now.

I would think the first thing to do is to carefully listen to yourself all the time. Observe what you say as if you were an outsider. If you then see yourself continuing to say the wrong things to the wrong people, you might want to consider talking to a T. Based on what you've said here, it doesn't sound as if you need medication, as opposed to a little more insight into why you do and say what you do and say. The best of luck! Take care.
