Wholesome Guide to Misbehaving

Always coloring within the lines? Venture a bit out-of-bounds and you'll reap surprising benefits, from energy jolts to personal revelations. A brief sabbatical from the self can leave you more at peace and committed when you return...

..The healthy approach to misbehavior, experts agree, is to occasionally break rules, norms, or expectations in ways that don't cause any serious harm. By doing so, we can test out roads not normally taken, and make sure we're on the path that's right for us. Misbehavior usually reaffirms our established ways just as it provides a refreshing break from them. But it sometimes reveals an even better direction in which to steer our lives. If we never misbehave, we'll never know what we're missing...and it could be something great.

i have no idea why misbehaving comes rather easily for me. i've moved 1000 miles to a place i knew no one. my friends were shocked i did this. turns out it was a wonderful adventure. have done other "out of the box" things too. now i'm searching for moving out of the u.s. for awhile. why not??!!!
just call me "misbehavin"

Very interesting! I may use some of this! I have been getting into this mood where I just want to do something fun and off the whim...possibly a bit crazy. I'm not sure if it is because I am a senior or I will be 18 in a year and I want to embrace my independence and such, or if it is because I haven't done anything really spur of the moment and crazy. I always get an idea to misbehave but them my mind starts going "what if you get caught? what will so and so thing? what if you mess up? what if...on and on" so I end up not doing anything. Thanks for this!

I do fail wantonly at those guidelines. I fault the rebellious nature instilled in me by disastrous nurture. Yet I do bring it up from the brink of the obscene with a will to overcome dire societal exile and glide along the razors edge of questionable good taste.

I like this concept... Think today just might be a good day to start. Being naughty/misbehaven might be a good thing. Being "good" all the time can be boring...

For some reason I couldn't access the site. I wish I could misbehave a little lol. Even as a kid I remember watching other kids sliding down the icy asphalt, thinking I might crack my head open, so I would watch others instead. I don't drink, never done illegal drugs and only had 1 intimate partner who's my husband. I think I also get intimidated by change so I stick with safe predictable things. I've always felt proud of my clean honest lifestyle but kind of wish I could venture out and do something I've never done before(not drugs or alcohol). I don't look as boring as I sound though.

Nah, those experts must be wrong. No thanks. I value my membership at PC too much to misbehave.

Well madisgram, you can venture if you please but please make sure you always pack your computer and continue to let us know of your adventures and mischief making.

We would be lost without you.
