I found a lump on my breast last night and I'm afraid it was be cancer.

I'm just really really scared.

I need to study, but I can't concentrate.

I don't want to die yet. I've realized this now. I don't want to die yet.

omg

You're not going to die. How big is it? Have you made an appointment to see the doctor? Check your armpits, too, btw.

Sending you positive vibes. You have every right to be scared. Please let us know what the doctor says.

I'm really sorry you had to find that lump. First, call your doctor immediately. There are two things it could be. It could be just fatty tissue (non-cancerous) or it could be the other. Hopefully it's not the other. Get to your doctor ASAP.

You have every right to be scared. Don't think you are overreacting, because you're not. If you need someone to talk to I'm here. My family has a long history of cancer, so I can definitely understand the fear.

Keep us posted.

I went to the urgent care clinic today and the doctor said she thinks it is a cyst. She ordered some ultrasound tests for me. I'm scheduled to have the ultrasound on Jan. 26.

I also made an appointment to see my family doctor tomorrow. She really thorough. Maybe she will order more tests.

Anyways, in the meantime, I'm just freaking out. I can't study. I don't know how to calm down. I wish the doctor gave me some anti-anxiety meds or something to cope with this.

Deep breathing and long walks... study what you can, but don't beat yourself up if you can't focus for very long.

I'm just scared, afraid to die.

I did some research and they say that breast cancer in young women are more invasive and more likely to kill.

I think I have to be prepared to die. :-(

I'm really scared. Can't study.

Deep breathes and try to relax. One thing I learned working for a GYN is that about 99.9% of the time they don't order an ultrasound if they suspect cancer.
