Empathy is key concept as Baron-Cohen talks about the role it plays in a number of disorders including Austism, Aspergers, Borderline Personality Disorder, Antisocial Personality Disorder and Psychopathy. I posted in this form because it could fit in a number of other ones. Posting here would seem to avoid some repetition. The interview is I think informative. The subject matter remains controversial. |

His Cambridge Longitudinal Foetal Testosterone Project interests me; there's a correlation between left-handedness and testosterone related to the developing baby too. I'd be interested in the relationship of handedness and his other findings from that Project and his earlier studies like that of his theory of mind and empathizing-systemizing theory (and how they relate to me since I'm left-handed :-)
