I remember in counseling, my counselor asked me to give a repensation of myelf using some figures/toys. I chose quite a few of them. My counselor wanted to know why and I replied that they are different aspects of me. There's the child me, the fantasical me and so on. The counselor wanted to make me more whole and I tried explaining to her that I was whole. These were just different parts of me. I always thought everyone was like that.

Oh, I think everyone has different aspects about them. For me there is the artist and creative part of me, and the part where I love to learn about people, and there is a child in all of us I think, after all we are not born adults. I also have a comical side of me and then a side of me that is very serious and contemplative.

So I think your fine, human after all.

You explained it better than I did at that time.

You did fine, therapists are always fishing to make sure they understand where we are coming from. And they try to define where our uncomfortable areas are so they can help us become more aware of the parts that we need to work on. Everyone is a work in process that lasts their whole lives, and sometimes we don't always recognize where we may need help staying on a good track personally.

I have plenty contradictory elements in me. I am idealist and realist. I serious and dark, female version of Franz Kafka... but I can be spontageous and silly (and I mean... pretending I am a cat silly). I do sometimes wonder where all this comes from.

Do you think these elements are contradictory Venus, why not complimentary? Different facets of thoughts and self expressions both internal and external are healthy. Where it comes from goes all the way back to now and is developing and expanding each day as you experience life.
