My friend has been having very worrying episodes of blacking out. She will wander off sometimes and wake up somewhere else, maybe outside. Her boyfriend has found her locked in the bathroom in the tub overflowing fully dressed and eating toothpaste. Recently I was at her house and she was sleeping in her room and suddenly her boyfriend finds her in her room after checking on her and she was fully dressed for work and looking for her car keys. After we tried explaining to her that it was 10 oclock at night and that she didnt have work until the morning she became very confused and upset. Help I have no idea what is wrong with her and want to know what you think could be wrong so that I can try to convince her boyfriend to try and get her the help she needs. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It sounds like a fugue state. Amnesiatic Fugue.

She needs to go to her doctor right away; she could have some sort of sleep disorder or neurological problem.
