Just needing to vent for I have an overwhelming feeling to CRY and yet it will not (or cannot) come. Oh how I wish I could cry right now and then I would feel so much better, and then I could move on with my day and with the many chores that await me. Need to CRY -

hey rhapsody. sorry youre feeling down. if you can, find a nice quiet place to curl up for a while and relax. let the tears come if they need to fall, and if not just give yourself some time, a few moments to mentally prepare for the day ahead. dont know. thats what i'm doing at the moment. just sitting still and getting ready for another day. lots of hugs coming your way. feel better.

I'm so sorry you feel that way. You're right- it is usually better to just get it out than to wallow in yor misery all day. Sometimes when I can't/won't "allow" myself to cry I watch a sad movie. Or I cut onions- that actually works better for me! Hope it works.

when I get like this I pop in a movie that has alot of emotions in it like a drama someone always dies in a drama, someone is always got some illness they are going through in a drama, -- Beaches - two childhood friend growing up, apart and back together, one gets cancer, Love Story (title says it all a classic boy meets girl, boy and girl fall in love, boy looses girl type movie), Terms of Endearment - mother daughter relationship Steel Magnolias - mother daughter relationship has comedy also, Shame - lawyer on vacation help rape victim, Shame 2 more of lawyer helping rape victims, In the best interest of the child, ... are all emotion filled movies that help me release pent up things.

Journal writing, playing with playdough, cutting pictures and making colloges, listening to music, drawing....

A person doesn't need to cry just to release the emotions behind that feeling. you may be one of those type of people where tears wont or cant flow as release on cue.

Thanks everyone.... (big smile)

I am doing a little better tonight, but I still have an overwhelming feeling of sadness and tears that seem to be living in me today - it is as though I am morning the loss of ME, the person I should have been if I had not been abused and wounded.

Big Sigh.... does that make any sense?

Morning UPDATE:

I now know what my sadness and tears from yesterday were for.... the loss of my Womanhood, that which I am now afraid to be - go figure me a woman and I am afraid of being exactly what I was created for.

People should NEVER wound in the first place.... for some wounds never heal, or they leave lasting negative effects on the victim - a once victim like ME.

I think I understand your feelings. I am sorry that you are feeling the lonliness within yourself. Maybe you are mourning the loss of innocence and experiences you lost? That is very sad. It is unfortunate that you were never able to have some of what should naturally have been happy memories. Maybe your small self is not gone but just out of reach right now. I hope you find her.

It makes perfect sense to me, Rhapsody! Yes, you are mourning the loss of you.

You and I have much in common. PM me if you ever need to.

Thanks YOU so much - Bipolar Bear & SeptemberMorn,

It means a lot to me to have someone that understands what I am feeling, and all without judgment.... some times I just feel so alone from the world and the people in it.
