i came home for lunch on Thursday and she was in the backyard with severe cuts on the inner thighs of both hind legs and swollen ankles on hind legs. one ankle was worse than the other.

my first thought was somehow she had gotten out of yard and had been hit by a car. later the vet and i decided that wasn't it. we don't know what could have happened to her. teddy jack is fine. no sign of any injury on him. i miss her. she's pretty sedated, for the pain, and resting okay today. send a doggy prayer her way. thanks, pat

I thought this was somebody posting about you in hospital at first! Glad you're ok and that your dog's not too badly injured//...

Fayeroe stood for a very short time today. She was wobbly and in pain.

We are at a total loss about what happened. It wasn't TeddyJack. She is much bigger than him and he's afraid of her..as in she is the Alpha dog.

We were wondering if a much bigger dog jumped in the yard and attacked her...BUT there are no injuries on her face and you know she would have fought back. It's sorta spooky and bizarre. I wish she could talk and tell us what happened to her.

And thank you each and every one for being so kind. You all know how attached we are to each other and my plate is full enough...so this has me a bit down. well, I lied. I'm very down about it. xoxoxo Pat

Ohhhh {{{{Pat}}}}

Anyone who knows me knows how so very much my furbabies mean to me. That does sound odd where she/he got those injuries. She's getting good vet care now, as well as the best TLC Fayeroe in Hospital

Praying for you and your little one.

i think i can see her this afternoon around 5. the cleaning crew is usually there. i'll call doc and ask him if i can go out.

sleeping without her is so strange. she always sleeps with her back running straight up and down my back. keeps me warm. lita is so little that she couldn't sleep straight up and down from my hand to my elbow. Fayeroe in Hospital
