This will mark my 500th post. I'm just testing to see if my poster status changes from veteran to something else. Mile post

Hey __z. I'm not sure about the purse, but I ve heard that you can't make one out of a sow's ear. She's a delightful dog but I forgot about how patient you have to be with the training and all. Gus is very patient with her. He let's her steal his toys and food and she bites him all the time with impunity. She keeps him busy as he is compelled to pee over every spot (outdoors, thank heaven) that she makes in the yard. It took alot of restraint on my part to let her bond with J___. Water dogs pick one to hook up with and since Gus chose me I wanted Lily to pick the wife. Nice hearing from you all again. I hope your furry friend is also fine.

you're just so kind to allow her to bond with your honey.........we totally admire the restraint it took!! Gus is such the gentleman to let her bite him and still behave so patiently with her. just goes to show the temperment of the dogs and the good enviromnemt in which they're being raised and trained.

our girlie is okay. the hardest part is finding somewhere to move to that doesn't already have a pack of dogs as we're not keen on her joining three or four other dogs that run free in the mountains. not exactly helpful for her to retain her training if she's with a wild crowd Mile post thanks for asking. yer not far from our thoughts.

Hey alex. It's really nice to hear from you too. I am almost completely just a voyeur now over there. It's feels kinda like revisiting high school after graduation. I hang out here with Jai a lot. But I miss those active days on PB. So are you in Australia now or back in NZ? Wherever you may be I wish you the best. You are one of the most fascinating people I know (and I love to tell people that I have a Kiwi friend)! Thanks for posting. T

Jeez, sorry I abandoned that thread. Well, I thought it best to respond over there, so there's a belated Valentine for you if you should happen to read this.
