You were talking about mounting and doing trik riding. I used to do "tricks", too. I used to stand up and ride, do head stands over the side, etc. I also am so tall that I always had very tall horses because I'm six feet tall. I liked to ride bareback and prided myself being able to put my hands on the horses back and just vault up on her back. I didn't even need to hold onto her mane to do it. Well, one day I got carried away and jumped too hard. I sailed right over her back and landed on my head on the opposite side! My horse looked at me, like, "Well, DUH!!!!!!!!!!" BIG GIFT TODAY!!! BIG GIFT TODAY!!! BIG GIFT TODAY!!! BIG GIFT TODAY!!!

colleen got on him, bareback, today and then stood up on him!!! we will fatten him up and keep him shiny and well-groomed.

this weekend, the owner of the ranch, is getting all of the tack that we need and will give it to us then. today he brought feed and a halter and lead rope. a feed bucket and a tub. i'm stunned. i have a horse!

he also hinted about asking colleen and josh to move out there. he told me that he's pretty much turning the whole thing over to me.

the place is so big that we drove to three different areas that i had not even seen before. 40 elk, two camels, 15 donkeys and one horse.

there are deer there also, but they hang out in the middle in approximately a one mile radius. i'll find them someday.

there is a foreman to do all of the full-time feeding and such. i'm just going to be a "caretaker" whatever.
